Hello!

My name is Xiaoyang Xu. I recently received my Ph.D. in public administration and public policy from the Department of Public Administration and Policy at American University. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Better Government Lab, Georgetown University working on civic technology and administrative burden.  

My research interests include gender and public administration, equal access to public services, citizen perceptions, budgeting, and theories of representative bureaucracy. 

I received my bachelor's degree and Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University.
